Range Supporting Unit (R.S.U.)
One RSU in each range, in total 27 RSUs, will be established. Each RSU will comprise a community organizers whose responsibilities are: to support the DFOs and below in implementing the activities related to community development and joint forest management under the guidance of the PMU at state level.
The objective of establishing the supporting unit in each range is to build a foundation for computerized information management system at range level, which will be maintained by range offices after the project closure. Range Officer (RO) will be trained in computer use under the Project.
